Homemade Taco Seasoning

Due to all the additives that are in many of the commercially available taco seasonings, I set out to make my own. This way I can get away from extra preservatives and things that don’t need to be in a seasoning mix (looking at you, soybean oil).

This is my tried and true Taco seasoning recipe that we use in many of our recipes at home. This is a mild recipe, but you can add more to the mix to get it spicer if you like some extra heat and kick to your dishes.

What You Need to Make Taco Seasoning

  • Chili Powder
  • Onion Powder
  • Garlic Powder
  • Paprika
  • Cumin
  • Dried Oregano
  • Sea Salt

If you would like this to be spicer than mild you can add additional peppers to the seasoning mix, such as Habanero Powder or extra Red Chili Flakes.
